Research pieces summarise published evidence. They are checked for clarity and sourcing before publication. They are not peer-reviewed academic papers.

Opinion

Opinion articles are always labelled. They reflect the named author’s views and may not represent Edroom’s editorial position.

Updates

Updates summarise official DfE and Ofsted publications. Live summaries link to primary sources on GOV.UK and Ofsted’s reports site.

Polls

Poll figures are Edroom’s own collated responses. Every result is labelled with its source (for example X or the newsletter) and sample size. They are not national statistics. When a question is fielded again, a new result is appended so earlier waves stay viewable on the same page.

League tables & trackers

Performance tables and inspection trackers are generated from curated datasets with documented schemas. Context notes explain comparability limits between phases and cohorts.
